What is Your Dream Life?

Are you aware of your heart's true desires?

Dream life. Best life. Follow your bliss.

Sometimes it seems as though these phrases have become buzzwords. They have been introduced into our general conversation in a way that has made us become less aware of their power. And they really do hold power.

There are some questions which I am quite sure that you will be familiar with that hold the same type of power.

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
If you could do, be or have ANYTHING, what would it be?

These questions imply no limitations on money, time, energy or any practicalities. Just you and your dreams.

As we progress on the journey of adulthood, many of us get let down, be it by people, experience or circumstance. Often we allow these perceived failures to taint our idea of what is possible for us in our lives. Our perception of what is reasonable to expect, what is reasonable to achieve, becomes more narrow every time we have these experiences but don't correct the impact of the underlying energy around them.

The more often we are let down, the harder it comes to trust that big things are possible. We do not want to be disappointed. We do not want to fail. We do not want to embarrass ourselves. We do not want to look silly.

So we lock any big dream or ambitions we may have for ourselves away, and default into living a safe life. We want the things that we know, believe and trust that we can achieve.

Some people are perfectly happy living their safe life. It is what is comfortable for them, and they have no ambition to live any differently to how they are now. That's ok too.

But if you have even one molecule of doubt about whether you could be living a bigger, braver, more joyous and exciting life, somewhere along the way you have likely learned that this is not the safe way to live.

If this is you, I issue you a challenge now. Spend some time in quiet reflection and listen to your heart's whispers. Really listen. See if you can hear the calling of what it is that you truly desire. What it is that you would do if you knew you could not fail. What you would chose if you could be/do/have anything you wanted.

Because that stuff right there? That is the stuff your dream life is made up of.

And here is a little secret most people don't know. It doesn't have to be difficult to attain your dream life. Quite the opposite, in fact.

It should be fun.

It should be exciting.

You will be excited to jump out of bed in the morning, you will be smiling as your awareness drifts off to your new life. You will move forward fearlessly, with fire in your belly and a smile on your heart.

This journey quickly becomes part of the dream.
